These are old wooden spools I had from grandmas trinket box. At times I had these displayed in a small basket for deco. Tags say 20-29 cents ...

I am sure there are some creative minds out there who can use these. I have some larger ones too and some from a wool factory she got ends from. I understand now how all the sweaters were never one color I didn't when I was a kid. Maybe another listing in the future for the big ones.

She even had a small table my grandpa made of these with a threaded rod thru them it has 3 shelves..so neat. I inherited that table and even though ti is a house colored blue they had used left over paint on I love it.

Questions & Comments

I keep a basket of these by my sewing desk for my granddaughter. It occupies her while I am sewing She LOVES them!

I remember when I was little i would string them on yarn for a necklace with grandma, i used a crochet hook to reach down and pull it thru holes, thought I was really doing something and then we would take them apart and redo it another day. Sometimes I got to color them or draw pictures on them. Thanks for the memory it has been alot of years

no but I am in the process of just making a throw for the sofa, it is hard to find these old hankies so pretty as these.

really what are you doing a lady I know took some for that old spool knitting we did back in the 70's dont know if you are old enough to know what that was LOL

How many are there?!?!?! What a find! I had a box of these and at summer camp I used them to make rattle snakes! We painted them added rattles at the end and a red tongue.. We used elastic to string them so the "slithered". They were too cute! I would love more to use for crafts.
