Rogers is always plated silver. Being that old it is probably a nice, heavy silver plating, but it is not sterling.

Oh, just so you know, this is not from the 1880's. That is a standard imprint used by Rogers. But it's still a VERY nice item and looks to be in excellent condition.

It dose not say 9.25 but it was made in the 1880's so not sure that they did that then but it is silver on inside and out
