Huge 3” to 4” blooms that are a wonderful mix of red, white and pink flowers. One of the best aspects of Shirley Corn Poppies is that they can be seen from a great distance, making them an excellent showstopper in your garden. The Shirley Corn Poppy grows to 2 or 2 ½’ tall and creates the most magnificent background – layer your garden starting with this magnificent plant as a backdrop and your entire garden will sing with color and personality! Seeds are packaged and germination tested for current year. You can save your seeds at the end of blooming season if you would like to plant elsewhere.
I sow at different times, but for earliest blooms plant in the late fall for March blooms. Sow at different times for fall blooms.
An interesting note: the seed pods from this plant make an exceptional dried floral arrangement at the end of the blooming season.
