Description

The listing, USA - 10x older used stamps - tiered auction has ended.

This is a tiered auction (no GIN!) for 10x older used USA stamps. Please read:

The picture shown is of the box from which the stamps will come. They are a mix of commemoratives and definitives, generally from 1910 to about 2000. The box has thousands of stamps, more than I can use for regular trading.

I will try to choose a nice mix from this box and at least 50% of the stamps will be commemoratives. All stamps are used and I will handpick them to make sure that they're all in sound condition; and I will try to ensure that they are at least 90% different..

This lot is designed for beginning collectors which do not yet have a large number of US stamps in their collection.

Bidding starts of 499 credits, the more you bid the more you get depending on where the final bid is:
at 499 credits = 10 stamps
at 500 to 1000 credits = 20 stamps
at 1001 to 1500 credits = 30 stamps
at 1501 to 2000 credits = 40 stamps
at 2001 to 3000 credits = 60 stamps
at 3001 to 5000 credits = 80 stamps
at 5001 to 8000 credits = 100 stamps
at 8001 and more credits = 200 stamps + USA 1966 mint souvenir sheet (cat.nr 1311)
--> The higher the bid, the more "stamps per credit" you will receive!

I will relist this lot each time after it has closed, so everyone will have an opportunity to get some of these. I do however only have a limited number of the USA 1996 souvenir sheet, so only the first times will I be able to enclose the free souvenir sheet (if the bidding reaches at least 8001 credits).

As always:
1) Must have a Listia-verified address. It is your responsibility to tell me the correct address, including Zip Code (zip+4 is preferable).
2) Postage within USA is free (non-tracked US First Class Mail), everywhere else is $2.25 payable via PayPal (for non-tracked International Airmail). Don't bid if not in agreement with this.
3) I always use nice US stamps on my envelopes (since I am a collector after all).

From the pic some of the stamps appear to be mint [not cancelled] is this right? Can I get the mint ones if I have the winning bid?

There are no mint stamps. There might be lightly cancelled stamps, but no mint ones.. sorry. These stamps come from old collections or they may be stamps I soaked off from envelopes. This auction is for a random number of stamps based on your bid level. I have 3 boxes of USA stamps just like this, so the stamps could could conceivably come out of one of the others.
