Is the plastic egg secured inside him (hot glued or whatever) or does it pop out of the crocheted animal? Also, about how big is it?

I normally put a bit of glue in to secure the egg, but if you wouldn't want me to, I can do that also. It's just the size of a regular sized Easter egg.
