Description

The listing, Lot of 29 Used DVDs Movies Comedy Action - Iron Man - Surrogates - Matrix Revolutions - Hellboy II has ended.

Up for auction is a DVD lot of 29 gently used movies total. Also some discs have two movies on one disc, and some dvd cases are double feature 2-dvd set's with two movies in them. They all come in their dvd cases except 3 movies, which I will put those three movies in a single jewel case for shipping purposes.

As far as I know all dvd's play, and some of them are still sealed and havent even been opened yet. I will mention below which ones those are, and a bunch of them I just received last Christmas and only watched once, so those are still fairly new also. The reason im listing these for auction is because I have 500+ digital movies on my external hard drive that I can watch anytime I want. So I dont really need this small lot of 28 movies, its just taking up space in my living room that I need.
If any of the movies arent familiar to you, you can go to www.imdb.com and look up the titles.

1.) Double Feature DVD - Tommy Boy and Black Sheep
2.) Scent of a Woman
3.) Attention Shoppers (Starring Luke Perry) - Still new in sealed plastic
4.) Double Feature 2-DVD Set - Disc 1 - Glory / Disc 2 - The Patriot
5.) Another 48 Hours
6.) A Guy Thing
7.) Sideways
8.) Pacific Battlefront: Marines in the Pacific (Special Edition Documentary in a metal tin case)
9.) The Score
10.) Flash Dance
11.) Sweet Home Alabama
12.) 8 Mile
13.) Hitch
14.) Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
15.) Iron Man
16.) Date Movie - Unrated
17.) WWI: The War To End All Wars - 3 Disc Set
18.) Bad Trip
19.) 50 First Dates - Widescreen Special Edition
20.) Hellboy II: The Golden Army
21.) The Deal (the dvd case is broken, doesnt open right, but ill still include it)
22.) Baby Mama
23.) Man of the House
24.) Fun with Dick and Jane
25.) The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (new and still sealed in plastic)
26.) Surrogates
27.) Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (no case)
28.) Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (no case)
29.) Matrix Revolutions (no case)

So the winner gets ALL the dvds??
Aug 16th, 2011 at 2:28:13 PM PDT by

Yes, winner gets ALL dvds, just like the ad says. I dont play that game that other Listia sellers play, where for every 500 credits they will add another movie of your choosing. Thats not how auctions should be, and thats not how I do mine. I put everything up at once, and winner gets everything, simple as that. I do auctions how I like them to be if I was the bidder. People that do that tiered auction nonsense are either cheap/greedy, or are afraid that what they have listed wont go that high, so thats their way of setting a reserve. My feelings is Listia doesnt have reserves, and doing an auction that way isnt keeping with the spirit of what the Listia founders have planned for the future of the site. I dont want to contribute to Listia becoming another ebay, because its not, and thats the attraction. I always have free shipping for people in the US. Sometimes Ill give free shipping for International, but not on this auction. Thank you and happy bidding!

I like your auction. I tried the tiered auction. Didn't like the result and the eventual winner. From Canada, wouldn't pay exact shipping, and then decided to set her own price at shipping. Bad experience so won't do that again. LOL fanned and watching.

Tiered auctions are for cheapo's who want maximum credits for junk they dont even want anymore. They cant let go of their stuff and are probably tripping over boxes at home because they think an old Aiwa cassette player is worth $400 when its not even worth $4. I just through everything up, and whatever happens happens. And if someone from CAnada won my auction and didnt pay shipping, I would just keep their credits, simple as that. Thats listia rules, i suggest you go read them thouroughly so you know next time. A buyer can not dictate shipping charges that are already known upfront, unless you were being very unreasonable and trying to charge way more then actual costs. Otherwise, you can keep them any time a buyer does not follow through on a purchase. I had a guy from canada try to do that to me over cheap computer memory that cost $3 to ship. Just shows how cheap Canadians are, they wont pay a dime for shipping, but have no problem bidding on things in the united states. Once i told the guy i was keeping his credits, he said listia wouldnt allow that, i gave him the link that said i could, and he quickly changed his tune and paid. Ill keep them the next time someone pulls that stunt again.

im confused it says free shipping but it says pay world wide?
Aug 16th, 2011 at 12:49:00 PM PDT by

I think your just misreading it. What it says exactly is "Free shipping in the US
Winner pays exact shipping (Worldwide)". I think they should put a comma, or dash, after the US part. Its free shipping in the US, and winner pays exact shipping if they live outside of the US.

I like your comment about tiered auctions. You are correct. This is a great auction and if I had enough credits, I would bid. Good luck. Keep up the nice work and stand firm! I feel the same way you do.

I did give her time. Over two weeks. I have had two bad ones. I thought when you block some one they couldn't send you e-mails or look at your auctions. This one guy keeps threatening me. Listia came in and gave us both a neutral feedback. He said today he would flag all my autions for it. I didn;t do it. Listia did. Now I gotta see what Listiais gonna do. I have 69 feedbacks at 100% He has 21. He got his merchandise as the ad showed. but wasn't happy once it was received. I offered him his credits back but he had to send the hot wheel cars back to me. He refused and tried to get a refund of credits. Listia refused and did the Neutral thing. Bad buyer all the way around.

I found out shipping to Canada if you don;t declare and pay extra the item can be opened and destroyed at the border. So That is why I say no shipping to Canada on mine. The item I sold was a complete set of Looney Tunes cartoons 10 discs plus two looney toones movies. shipping came to $23.95 us dollars. She said it was only $12.09 and that is all she would pay. And to top it off she won with only 404 credits. Over $100.00 worth of DVDs and she wouldn't pay shipping. Go figure. By the way nice to meet you.
Aug 21st, 2011 at 1:05:11 PM PDT by

Ya, when she said she wouldnt pay shipping you should have just said thanks for the 404 credits, have a nice day. Then given her a 10-14 day deadline to make final payment for shipping, so at least you could show you had given you ample time. Everyone knows what shipping is up front, so theres no excuse when its time to pay, other then they intended to try to get one over on you all along. Like I said, someone attempted that on me, didnt work though, and I was going to keep his credits, so he paid, a whopping $3, lol.

Hey Luke by the way can you use another external hard drive? I have a Phantom 1TB I think I'm gonna throw it on here.
Aug 18th, 2011 at 5:51:31 PM PDT by

DAMN SKIPPY I COULD. ESPECIALLY A 1TB. Iim actually trying to get another external hard drive so my father will give me his portable external hard drive, if i give him a decent size (500GB or larger) desktop external hard drive. He wants a copy of my collection for home, and i need a portable drive to go with my laptop, so its a win win...if i can get one! List that sucker!
