The dress or tunic top is made of double layered 100% polyester material. The material is soft, lightweight and drapes delicately against the skin or other clothing without clinging or bunching. .Measurements are 25" across waist at ribbon tie.Also, from armpit seam to bottom of dress / tunic is 27". The cami-straps are adjustable. The ribbon tie is attached to front of dress and ties in the back. I tried the dress on to get a feel for how I would wear it.... I felt this would be more comfortable worn as a tunic style top with a pair of jeans or a skirt or possibly shorts as opposed to wearing it as just a dress, but that's just me. The double layer material does not completely double around the entire dress as you may be able to see in the picture. As the material drapes around to the hanky tipped edge of the top, there is then only a single layer of material which is why I suggested layering the dress with other clothing. A slip under the dress would also work great. The material does not have any stretch at all so make sure you compare the measurements with your own similar well fitting clothing..
