The descriptions include the reason(s) for use, information you may need to complete the form, and reasons why you might need to update such a document.
If you choose to create a document, the program provides a wizard to guide you through the first steps. When the document is complete, you can read it online or print out a copy, showing the information you added to the template document.

In our testing, we found the Legal Search and Law Dictionary components of the product to be the least useful. The Legal Search enables you to look up information on a topic and then provides the information divided into three categories: Documents, References, and Definitions. To our annoyance, the references frequently require you to purchase access to the information.

Quicken Family Lawyer's strength is helping you create straightforward legal documents and answering typical legal questions. In a pleasant and necessary touch, it does warn you when it judges your legal situation to be better served by contacting a legal professional. Small-business owners will find almost all the legal forms they require for doing day-to-day business.
