Listia does NOT RECOMMEND paying via paypal as Personal and Gift .. its not safe.. for there is no buyer protection.. Why not just ask a little more if your worried about "paypal fees"..they are not ebay fees they are paypal fees.. here is a really cool website that lets you know how much you will get after fees and how much you need to ask to get a certain amount via paypal..

Actually paypal did take care of me in a "Item not recieved" transaction from Listia. that of course was done by "purchase" and goods.. but you are correct.. its the bidders choice.. but Listia strongly recommends that they "do not choose:" gift and personal.. its noted in the listing after auction won.. good luck with your auction..

Since it is for shipping not the product you can send it as personal other. As the money goes to the post office or ups not the person.
