Bought these from ebay a while back.Claimed to be 80lbs but more like 30lbs when I did the testing.
Still works great for smaller fishes.
I have used around 20ft of line for testing, it has been sitting there since.
Not sure about the dark sticky residue on the roll. Mainly on 3 inches of the line.
