The character, ( and my grandmother,) were both renowned cooks. Much of what I learned in the kitchen was learned under her watchful eye. This recipe was sought after by everyone who ever tasted it. I will send this recipe intact, altho I will also give substitutions for certain things that work nearly as well as the original for those who are concerned about cholesterol.
