Description

The listing, 10+ Easter Cactus Seeds from my own Easter Cactus has ended.

The actual pictures posted in this auction are from my own Easter Cactus. A picture of the plant, the seed pods and the actual seeds. All of the pictures were taken just before I posted this auction. I collected after one of the pods dried out on the plant. I just removed one of the dried pods off the plant 2/20/15 @ 5:05pm, and did my best to separate as much of the dried pod from the seeds as I could as you can see in the third picture. When I acquired the Easter Cactus the flowers had already dried up, so I am not going to guess the color, so it will be a surprise to whomever wins the auction and raises the seeds into mature plants. Happy Bidding! :-)

Cool auction! I never see pods on ours, they bloom almost all year long. The flowers are beautiful. One is deep Pink and the other is pale orange/pink. Ours must be Christmas cactus?

Hi! :-) Easter have the scalloped edges and Christmas have the really pointed edges on the edges of the leaves. The flowers have to have been pollinated either by hand or by insects etc in order for them to get seed pods on them. The next time yours bloom take a small paint brush and go around and collect pollen from one plant and put it on the red top of the stigma on the flowers of another plant. You just might get lucky. :-)
