Red 100% silk chiffon overlay with rhinestone embellishments at the ruched bodice.
The underlayment of the dress has a hole in it; about 1/2 inch in diameter. I am sure it could be sewn shut; but it is not noticeable through the silk layer, even when you know where to look; and I would rather tell you it is there then sew it up! (I pictured close-ups of the hole by itself, and with the silk layer over the hole and you can't see the hole). However, I want to make sure the buyer knows it is there.
Enough with the hole! The dress is stunning! The pictures don't do it justice, really, but pic #1 is pretty good.

The price tag on this dress originally $250
(That was a few years ago when I got it at a trunk show and Shelli Segal has really grown in popularity and price since then). The person at the truck show who was in charge of some dresses let this one fall from the cart and it got stuck in the wheel, hence the HOLE. I got a good deal on it; but put it away and forgot I even had it.
I sell on etsy.com and I say this because I got an email letting me know the concern bidders have about new members that are scammers. (I have a couple of handbags listed for auction on listia, besides the dress) and the emailer wanted more assurance I would really deliver the handbag before she bid on one of the bags.
This dress is too new to sell in my vintage store, and I am too fat now to wear it, so I figured this might be a nice place for it.
