The listing, c. 1947 PEPSI BOTTLE, NO COLOUR has ended.
the only pepsi bottle produced with no colour in its logo. these sell now for $17.50-$20. because they are so "blah" looking, no one has saved them as much as other styles and it is also becoming rather rare. it was a bold concept for pepsi.
Questions & Comments
I know there is only an hour left, but I have been looking into this and cannot find any proof of what you say. I can only find things that disprove it. There should have been a label on it, either painted or printed. Either way, this is not as rare as you are trying to say. If I am wrong and you know something, please can you tell me... thanks
there was no label on it. it was the only one. all the labeling was on the carton. I worked for several years in three antiques and collectibles shoppes. I know it seems strange but pepsi tried alot of new things when the actress, joan crawford, inherited control of pepsi. no one was very happy with her decicisios, however.
if you are unhappy with the bottle, or my explananations, I would seriously suggest you not purchase it. if you are the winning bidder, I will forgive it and just relist, ok? I don't want anyone unhappy with any of my erchandise. net
