The listing, Vintage Mother of Pearl Bracelet has ended.

This mother of pearl bracelet was made in the 1950's. The shell is fairly think making it very sturdy. The widest part of the bracelet is 3/4 of an inch in the front. The back is just over a 1/4 inch wide. The inside diameter of the bracelet measures 3 inches.

No it is not celluloid. If you notice inside the bracelet there is still some chalky residue. It is Mother of Pearl from the Mississippi River.

It is 100% mother of pearl from a shell found in the Mississippi River in Muscatine, IA. It was one my grandfather made when he owned a button factory in the 1950's.
