this here is a one pound sterling brittish coin. it is not copper/nickel, but sterling silver and 1983 uncirculated in very good to fine condition as usual there is free shipping. this coin is very rare and collectable. it has the queens coat of arms on the reverse side as you can see in the pics.

Only proof coins for collectors were minted in silver. Business strikes- like this coin- are nickel/brass.

hey woozie, another thing. this particular coin has in Latin sterling silver on the very edge of the coin. this is also how i know that it is silver. i am assuming that you can not read Latin, but i can.
