Not sure about the specific variety, but I do know that they VERY sweet, very juicy, very LARGE, & very flavorful. In addition to eating plain, they are also awesome for smoothies, salads, jams, Salsa, relish, and also a myriad of delicious savory dishes.

How do I know this, you ask? Well we pretty much had a papaya PLANTATION in our back yard (lol), up until about 2 months ago when we moved. But NO WORRIES! We made sure to take PLENTY of seeds with us from these amazing Papayas, more than we'll ever need, infact.

The pictures in this listing ARE indeed real and taken by myself, about 2 years ago. To PROVE this, I have just taken a picture of the same boy (my kid brother) next to the papaya tree in the 2nd picture , and that picture I just took is the last picture, taken on 1/27/15. Just to prove that the seeds you are getting will be coming from world class papayas that grow to be HUGE, and also very prolifically. I promise that you will have too many papayas than you will know what to do with!

My dad is the one that grew them, but I can tell you that it is a very low maintenance tree, that I never saw him babying, pruning, or adding any pesticides or even fertilizer to....which makes it low cost to grow......it thrives in even sandy soil types & does not take up much space.
I noticed in most instances, papayas were already ripe on young trees only MONTHS from the seeds coming up.
