Thanks for trying. It appears that there is a letter "D" just below Kennedy's neck. If so, that is the mint mark for the Denver, CO US mint. Please look closely at the coin and see if you can see a letter "P", "D" or "S" that lets us know if the coin was minted in Denver, Philadelphia or San Francisco. The letter appears under Kennedy's neck above the two 0's in 2006 and is smaller than the 2006. We'd all appreciate if you could look and let us know what you see there. It will be one of those letters. Thanks.
By the way, fanned, appreciate fan back. You will see F/W/B in different combinations here on Listia. That means Fanned you/Watching your auction/Bidding on your auction. Courtesy is to fan back when someone fans you. Don't fan too many people who do not return the favor. Listia will stop allowing you to fan people. What I do is periodically unfan those who don't fan back.
Thanks for the update. I'll bid on the P this time and the D whenever you list it. You'll probably want to include the mint mark in your listing title. Such as 2006 D Kennedy half dollar. Thanks again.
I found these in a box of stuff I got at an auction and I'm not a collector so can ya tell me where to find these things please?? The words on the package are scratched up and hard to make out what it says!
