Description

The listing, Antique DeWitt's Carbolized Witch Hazel Salve 1 oz steel "Stash" container has ended.

The book doesn't come with this auction. The canister has never been used to store anything illegal, and I only recommend "stashing" things in it you want to hide that are legal of course! It is airtight and water resistant when closed. A good strong container.

It weighs less than one ounce now that it is empty. It contained one ounce of salve, of which there was still some moist inside after all these years, that I just wiped out so you can see it is nice and clean inside. It is slightly over two inches wide and 4/5 of an inch deep. I believe it is made out of galvanized steel? The outside of the can isn't a shiny as the inside due to the galvanization having been worn off and some surface rust having formed in places, see pics, but that makes it easier to hide since the patina is dull so you can just about toss it in any dark place in a hurry in order to hide it.

Continental United States listians only please! Thank you.

note: after receiving two offers on the book I decided to list it separately, it is ending about 18 hours before this auction in the books category. Just look at my other auctions for sale and you will find it.

Back in the seventies I only had to "stash" my container one time. I was working at an amusement park and the cops came in and "busted" my friend. Immediately I ran behind a structure where no one could see me and quickly buried it in some foliage and covered it back up so the place did not appear disturbed. It worked out really well later on I recovered it and got to keep my stash. Fun times.

Ok, let's see what timothy says too, I could either do a GIN or start it off as an auction.

Well...depending on where you live, as I do...it IS legal! I don't think as many people are offended or shocked by insinuations regarding putting cannabis/medicinal herbs, in this container as say...5 years ago. (The magazines popularity is a dead give away!)But by all means, if it's illegal where the winner lives, they SHOULD NOT put illegal substances in this container! They auction off Vape pens on here for crying out loud, lol!

Thanks, I understand. I used to do it myself a long time ago. Fanned back.

Again to re-iterate even though I always had a 'stash' container with me when I was working at that amusement park it was NOT this one, but it was an old antique can. It was my friend who taught me to use one and helped me pick one out, I forgot how I got my old one or what was written on it but it was really cool. Probably one of my sisters took it from me when I went into the Marines.

I think I got my old container in an antique store after listening to my friend's advice. Even if it is legal to put the substance you wish to in your container, if someone sees it somehow in your purse or whatever I don't see why you would have to open it up for them, what is contained inside is your own private business.
