It would be fair criticism of Avery to say that his career has been injury plagued; after all, he missed 2010, most of 2011, and much of 2014 with injuries, leading to him jumping teams after injury-related releases. Around that, however, he's been a very effective receiver, averaging 50 catches and almost 700 yards per season, including a 60 catch, 781 yard season with the Colts in 2012. With the St Louis Rams, he had exactly 100 catches in 2 seasons (53 as a rookie in 2008, 47 in 2009).
