I just read the directions. Online you just put in the the card number and access # at checkout.

But in-store it sounds alot more complicated:
"To redeem your Target eGiftCard in a Target store in the U.S. please view on a web-enabled mobile device or follow these steps:
Save your Target eGiftCard to your Mobile GiftCard account on your web-enabled phone, visit m.target.com/gc
Select 'My GiftCards' within the 'My Target' section
Create a Mobile GiftCard account (or sign in to your existing account) and save your eGiftCard
At checkout, a Target team member will scan the eGiftCard from your web-enabled mobile device."

Also, cannot be used towards any pre-paid gift cards like Visa.
