To instill fear into the hearts of criminals I became a bat. A monster in the night.

Batman ftw.

I used to watch The New Adventures of Batman all the time when I was a kid because it came on right after Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles :D. I'm lucky my dad was such a sports nut because if it wasn't for his cable I wouldn't have been able to see anything.

My dad tried to get me to watch the live action Adam West batman's as a kid too, but it wasn't until I got much older that I saw how funny those actually were. Even though only a few years separated them, I guess when you're kid a kid things have to be either animated or muppets to appreciate them.

Oh, but my favorite super hero growing up was optimus prime. I watched that with my dad growing up. Followed closely by Raphael the TMNT.

I'm pretty sure I have more cards of both Batman and TMNT, but I just have to find them. These are what I found in my initial searches through all my crap.

I have a story about the comment I made before. During Thanksgiving in 2001 while in New York Kevin Conroy the actor who voiced Batman/Bruce Wayne in The Animated Series and many others he was there helping out the Police and Fire Stations of New York by serving meals during the party. One person ask him to say I am Vengeance I am The night I Am Batman. He agree he got up and in his Batman voice said I Am Vengeance, I Am The Night, I Am Batman! The Crowd cheer and the officers and fire fighters walk up to him and told him thank you for doing that for us and they started to share stories about their favorite episodes and how they would watch it with their kids.

I thought You would like to hear that story

You're talking to a Transformers fan since I was 2 and Optimus Prime is my favorite. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are awesome.

I use to watch Batman the Animated Series when I would visit my grandparents and they would allow me to watch the show and it still one of my most favorite shows. Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles are among the greats

I thought you would like that story and Mr.Conroy is from New York. From what I understand that he felt touch by that moment that he is always happy to reprise his role as Batman. I think it is a honor to play such a legend as Batman I think Kevin is one if the not the best actor to play Batman. His voice of the character really made him much more darker and cooler.

I think that is why Kevin is always happy to reprise his role as Batman because of the officers and Fire Fighters that he was helping that day just by saying the famous line I Am Batman
