do the original cards that come with this kit similar to the Waite card deck?

Not entirely , they have Hearts instead of cups , Princesses /Princes instead of pages . the Major Arcana are the same . These cards show a different light and are enhanced meanings .Amy Zerner & Monte Farber have a deeper insight than the rider waite (which happens to be my favorite deck ) I enjoy learning new ways to look at the cards . The general meanings are the same of course but with an extra bonus .
