The Dewlicious Melon is related to the Honeydew (sometimes called the Golden Honeydew), although the flesh is an off white tinged with orange in the middle.

Some other melons are labeled Dewlicious but this light color variety is more exotic! I have a great local Farmer's Market that sources fruits and vegetables from all over the world and this strain is one I've never seen anywhere else.

Some believe this variety is a hybrid; Honeydew mixed with the Winter Melon, as it lacks the textured skin of the Cantaloupe. The rind on the outside is a smooth, bright yellow!

The flavor reminds me alot of honeysuckle, sweet but more subtle than Cantaloup, but with less of a "green" flavor than Honeydew.

These will be quite pretty growing in your yard.
