It's a cute design, but how can you be sure that when the pacifier drops on a dirty floor, the nipple didn't touch the floor first, before the plastic shield snaps? Might give parent a false security.

I agree, this is the one and only pacifier that has its auto shield.

My daughter has one, and its as clean as can be...Way more cleaner than the ones with out the shield. Those i have to clean all the time. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion and you wont know till you try it. i personally think there great!!

I agree, the one without shield, you have to find a way to "transport" them and it is such a hassle to find a small container to fit it.
