Beautiful natural emerald and pearl .925 sterling silver pendant with fairly large bail that will work on omegas and other larger chains as well as smaller chains. Measures 7/8" wide and 1 3/4" from bail to bottom of pendant.

Emeralds are a variety of the mineral beryl and are varying shades of green, due to traces of chromium and sometimes vanadium. Beryl (and thus, emeralds) has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the 1 to 10 Mohs scale of mineral hardness.

Emeralds have always been considered one of the precious jewels. This is a classic pendant that could become a signature piece. Makes a great gift. Get your Christmas shopping done early.

Is it marked 925 anywhere (on the bail sometimes)? Also, in the last picture ,is that a dentat the bottom in the backplate - can't tell from the picture if that is just it's shape or a dent? Thanks.
