The listing, Vintage wooden checkers in original box - for crafting has ended.

Vintage 1940s or so wooden embossed and dyed checkers from Japan. The set is missing one so not great for playing... 12 red 11 black. BUT... These would be awesome made into beads if you have a small drill or Dremel tool.
Or glued onto strong magnets, or made into buttons or assemblage or jewelry. Or They can be painted other colors with acrylic paint or spray paint. Or ... What else could you do with these lovely vintage checkers?

They're just pretty cool. Use your imagination! And the offset lithography printed graphics on the paperboard box are awesome too.
