Am pleased to offer for sale this 2008-P Arizona State Quarter. The theme of the Arizona State Quarter is "Grand Canyon State." Arizona was admitted into the Union on February 14th of 1912. The reverse side of the Arizona State Quarter features an image of the Grand Canyon with a Saguaro cactus in the foreground. A banner separates the two images to signify that the Saguaro cactus does not grow in the Grand Canyon. The reverse side of the Arizona State Quarter was designed by Joseph Menna. BU State Quarter is from the Philadelphia (P) Mint. This State Quarter was comprised of .750 copper and .250 nickel and Gold Plated (GP) with a weight of 5.67 grams and a diameter of 24.3mm. These Arizona BU State Quarters come from original U.S. Mint Sets or original bank wrapped rolls. All of our State Quarters have nice eye appeal and no major marks or visible problems.
