14 Killer Pics!!

Well I went fishing yesterday and it was a chilly one! I was thinking the beautiful Hotel with the hot tubs would be nice to hang out at later that night. Sitting around a campfire I was excusing myself to "find a place" and as I walked through the dark I stumbled over something, slamming me to the ground. Both knees are road rash (I ripped my fav Levis) and I broke a finger and 2 toes, but looky at what I fell over!!! This baby is about the size of a big cantaloupe and more full of quartz crystal the size of the cantaloupes seeds, than I have seen in a long time! The blue banding surrounds the entire width and length of it, putting it also in the agate category!In the pics it's still wet and dirty, I'll get it all cleaned and polished for ya! (The other half went to my Doc this morning)...lol!

This is a big one and it's gorgeous!!!!! It's one you can use as a centerpiece, not throw in a bowl!!!!

I'll ship it, handle it, ins it, and have it tracked.... but you need to help me pay the Doc!!!! LOL!

Amazing! I would love to live where I could just trip over such beauties...but not break any fingers & toes (ouch!). It is a beauty. I'm surprised you can give it up after it cost you so much pain finding it!

It is hard parting with them, but if you saw my home you'd understand....I don't know if you remember a cartoon called The Flintstones, but my house is looking like Fred and Wilma's!!! Except my stones and crystals are locked in big showcases with lights on them... LOL! I keep a ton of small pieces of everything for when people come over and are mesmerized with them, that way I can hand them a goodie bag before they leave!!!!

in some pics it is full of quartz in others there are less....why? from cleaning??

No, the one's that look like they are not as full are filled with dirty water I have been soaking it in.... lol! Good eye!! I wondered who would see that and ask, I'm impressed!!!! The center of the inside is maybe 1 and 1/2 inches deep!!! It's looking soooo good, I should post some pics of it being cleaned and me polishing it!

I use a lapidary saw, (circular one) with a diamond tooth round blade ... goin to head in and polish it up !!!!!!
