The listing, Folded Book Art Home Decor "HOME" Recycled Book decor has ended.

This was made by me from a old hardback book, the pages of the book have been folded so they spell out the word "HOME" with a heart for the "O". The pages are folded in such a way that the word kinda has a 3-D effect. The book is about 24 inches high.

Folded book art makes a beautiful display piece for any style of home decor.

I will ship within 48 hours of auction end via first class mail with tracking.

Wonderful. I think I have seen everything when something like this pops up. Truly unique. I have never seen it before. Has to be very consuming. Not just time. What a wonderful way to keep "books" alive. They're fading fast, yet you've just given them a shot of B-12. Thank you for sharing. Many blessings to you. There will come a time when books are no more, yet your art lives on for the children who ask, "what's a book"? That day will come.

This one took me a couple days, but only because I did it in sections. I would say overall I it took about 6-7 hours.

Very beautiful. Takes me back to my childhood & sitting with my Gram & folding Reader's Digest magazines into Christmas trees & spray painting them green & sprinkling glitter & sequins on them for gifts for my teachers back in the 60's. :-)

it used to be "broken prey" -- technically you could unfold all the pages and still read the book. All of the book pages are still intact.

yup :) however the book did come from a used book store, I haven't noticed any smell of smoke and it do "clean" any used books I get that I am going to be selling/trading before I put them up for sale/trade just in case there are any smells I did not notice.

I can't even remember how I learned to do it, I just remember seeing it at a flea market years ago and wanted to do it. You can find tutorials online if you look up "book folding art" or "folded book art" :) it's a lot of fun actually, time consuming, but worth it
