Those who know me know I always try to list the best and always try to keep my buyers happy... but I have never listed anything THIS nice! I am taking a chance here :)

I am a huge jewelry fan!!! I love all gold and sterling items, and anything that blings! I also collect raw minerals and natural gemstones.

I came across this gold and diamond ring years ago when a friend came to me in need of money... she was selling off a number of things she had received. .. and being my friend... I got first dibs.

This ring not only came with paperwork, but it is marked 14k and stamped by the maker... AND it is lazer etched on the inside of the band with a long identification number. I believe this is a size 7 or 8.

This ring was purchased back in 2007 and insured and appraised THEN for over $1600.00.

Gold has gone up since then over $300 an ounce.

In fact everything has gone up since then.

I had a tough time getting good pictures because the cut of this diamond is so nice it sparkles with little effort! So bright! I love it! Ha!

I know I can sell this on ebay or another site no problem, but Listia has been good to me... so I thought I would return the favor and give Listians a chance to win something super nice for themselves that they might not otherwise be able to afford.

Some people are soooooooooooooo rude!!!! I am sorry... but please do not say negative things about my items because you are trying to make it sound bad so others wont bid. If I see these things... you will be blocked and if you have already bid... and win... I will give you your credits back and not my item. I don't run down anyone's items and I ask the same. Kindness. Yes... I know. :) I have seen some beautiful cluster rings, but I would take a solitaire over a cluster ring any day! I took this to a jeweler yesterday... just because I was wondering... and he said it now had a value, he felt, closer to 2500. Or at least if he had it, that is what he would list it for. So that should make the buyer happy. :)

A jeweler is not going to give her anything for it I had a 5K ring it was my husbands ex's set. I took to 3 jewelers and they offered me $30, $62 and $75 for it and all of them told me they would removed stones melt and redo the whole thing.Which we all know it wasn't true at all, they must be trained to say that.But they are out to make a profit so what they offer is pennies. Cash for gold would have gave her more.And then the other next best option would have been Ebay and the fees are extremely expensive now.

Nothing fake or cheap about it! I am hoping to get a new badge by selling this, but more importantly, I hope to give someone a chance to buy something on here that they may not be able to afford otherwise. This would make a great gift, engagement ring, anniversary gift, just an everyday bling bling... the list goes on and on. I am a marquise lover. lol. This has some spectacular sparkle to it and that is why I even got it to begin with... but... I really don't need it. So this is my chance to pass it on and hopefully make someone else's day! The size and everything is on the identification card. Every tiny possible thing you could want to know is on the identification card. Including the matching lazer etched identification number that matches the number etched into the gold band. Photos are all there.

The number etched into the band is the cert number from IGI, some laser it into the diamond itself (GIA does this) and some do the setting. Gorgeous ring! Someone is going to get very lucky :)
