Correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as it is the genuine Zippo brand they will fix the loose hinge on this.

My dad had a problem with his Zippo before and I think as long as you send it it they will repair it.

Yes all is true. I have a zippo that the guys in my unit in the army got me when I left. The hinge was loose and they fixed it free.
