This is for a media remote control for the xbox 360. I don't know what model this is but it works and the buttons light up. It takes 2 AA batteries. Batteries not included.

WOW that's a big picture lol... The darker areas to the right of the buttons are actually shadows and dust or something by the on/off button. It's clean
http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/hardware/accessories/media/universalmediaremote.aspx It looks like that's what you'd need to know. There is a dropdown to show "using the remote" and "tv codes" as well. This one I have is older so I don't know exactly of any changes there would be if any.
I don't even remember ever using it at all except maybe once. I rarely ever used my xbox to play dvds and have had my share of RROD's without replacing my xbox so it's just sat around. I did test it just before listing it though and it works fine.
I guess so, I never really used it like I said lol... I guess you can use it for the Windows media center if you have your computer connected to your xbox and program in your TV and stuff.
