The listing, Heirloom Stowells Evergreen Sweet Corn Seeds has ended.

Due to living in FL and not using pesticides we have had no luck with keeping bugs out of our corn, so we no longer grow it. These are the leftover seeds.

Each bag contains 20 Seeds, they are all heirloom. The corn has grown very well when we grow a lot together, the stalks hold each other up. We also grew pole beans under the corn to grow up the stalks.

Questions & Comments

How is the ear of the corn. Size, color, health, taste. ?

It's a yellow sweet corn, so it'll be like that you can get at the store. 8-10 inches. The plants did really well for us, we would do 3 rows and stagger them till we planted 20. The stalks hold each other up and as long as they get regular water and full sun they will do well.

Great ! Thanks Chuck,for getting back to me so quick, and for the information. Here in Hawaii, there has been a decrease in the Honey Bees., We don`t see as much as we use to. Maybe it is that our open spaces have been filled with homes, or for other reasons. But I have learned from youtube, on how to self pollinate corn. There is nothing like corn on the cob boiled, or roasted, with salt, and butter. Thanks for listing the corn seeds. Good luck to all the Bidders. :)
