Its got twice the cat attractant than catnip. This toy is sealed so the cats can smell it but can't consume anything. My cats love this toy. They kick it to death fur a bit, walk away and go back to it repeatedly. When I see they've temporary lost interest,I'll put it in the baggy with the silvervine "abracatdabra "powder I have or I'll put it into the baggy with dried silvervine leaves to "marinate"in the scents.
