Hello to all of my fellow listians. Tonight I am putting up an amazing auction of very old jewelry from Italy which is all sterling silver and a bit of gold. There is a very old and heavy solid sterling silver religious medallion. I believe that is what it is called it is a piece that you hang on a necklace. Anyway, it has a sterling hallmark and is about 8 grams of sterling silver. This was my great grandmothers and is from Italy it is a gorgeous and very old religious piece and also a nice chunk of antique silver with a hallmark. Then there is a pair of very old sterling silver earrings that are some type of bird they look almost like an Indian design and they also have a sterling hallmark. They are the old screw back type earrings. The ring in this lot is absolutely gorgeous it has two rings made into one. The outer ring is sterling silver and the inner ring is 1/ 20th gold filled. It also has the sterling silver and gold filled hallmark on the inside of the ring. The last and most gorgeous piece is a very old. 925 sterling silver necklace that is 12 inches long when it is closed. It has the 925 hallmark also a letter G with some type of flower as makers mark and hallmarks and it says Italy on it. it is a very unique and gorgeous design for an antique Italian sterling silver ladies necklace. So all together in the lot is the antique silver religious medallion, the pair of silver earrings, the sterling silver ring with the gold filled inner ring and the incredibly gorgeous antique Italian sterling silver ladies necklace.
