The listing, Vintage Art Dish Bowl Ashtray Possibly Italian Glass Pastel Colors has ended.

This bowl measures about 6 1/4" long and about 6" wide. It is about 2 1/2" high at the highest part.
The colors are pastel, remind me of cotton candy
The glass is very thick
The bottom is ground
The color is in the middle of the clear glass
Any tiny specks that you see are inside the glass
This piece weighs about 1 1/2 lbs
It is in excellent condition--no chips or cracks.

The lady I purchase it from told me that she thought it was Murano but I just don't know
Please study the pictures as they are an important part of the description.

WOW. No one in my house smokes, but if I had the credits for this I'd get it anyway and just put candy in it, this is just -gorgeous-.

Lol, this bowl was never used as an ashtray, I think I could tell if it was, but a lot of them were used for ashtrays, way back when.

I think MMAY90 is right about it being Murano. I have a piece that I carried home from Italy that is slammer than this piece...same type of colors. Mine is a star bowl! This is beautiful and who ever get's it is lucky! I have mine on my dresser...Great Auction.

I have seen the northern lights many times and this is what they look like in glass. Bet the artist saw them too.as it is perfect match. Super auction wannie & watching :)

Almost certainly mid-century Italian (Murano) art glass, probably an ashtry. I LOVE this type of glass ... I've got my watch bid in!
