This is beautiful :) my husband sees all the nice things I get for myself on here and really wants a gold necklace. I was wondering if you had a chance to get to the pawn shop to see if it is solid 14k or plated or filled? Or do you have any background info on it like where it was originally purchased?

The only way I know to check is with a magnet and I tried that and there wasn't any magnetism. I guess I could take it up to the pawn shop a nd act like I'm going to pawn it. I'm sure they would let me know real quick if it was a fake. I'll try that here in a few hours when everything starts opening.

Go too any gold buyer and they will check it for you in a couple of minutes. We need too know it was tested and is real I sell gold myself and have mine checked at least 3 different locations. This would increase the bids greatly since many of us have won gold jewelry that was not real. Thanks and good luck!
