My Sweet Audrina is not in the greatest shape. A little water damage at the bottom but still together & very readable. I bought this at my local library when they were having a sale. Beautiful Audrina Adare spends her childhood feeling haunted by her namesake, an older sister who was raped & murdered on her ninth birthday. Audrina often experiences visions of the unspeakable evil her sister suffered. Her father, a man obsessed with the perfection of his first daughter, keeps Audrina hidden at home & forces her to sit for hours in her dead sister's rocking chair as if to absorb the dead child's goodness. One day, Audrina manages to slip out of the house & meets Arden Lowe, a handsome older boy. As the years pass, their secret friendship blossoms into love. But the nighmare that has plagued Audrina's childhood does not divulge it's shattering truth until her wedding day.
