This is a 2014 Topps Allen & Ginter "Pastime's pastimes" Insert for Los Angeles Angels superstar MIKE TROUT.

Considered many to be the Joe DiMaggio of modern day baseball, and with card values that liken him to a modern-day Mickey Mantle, Mike Trout won Rookie of the Year in 2012 while finishing as the runner-up to Miguel Cabrera as MVP that season. In 2013, he would again finish runner-up to Miggy, before winning the AL Most Valuable Player Award in 2014. A dynamo hitter with fantastic glove work, Trout's popularity continues to rise, as does his team. With a formidable offense that includes both Trout and slugging legend Albert Pujols, the Angels look to be a World Series contender for years to come.
