Description

The listing, Beautifully-Patterned Black and White Butterfly Brooch has ended.

I have combined the 'old with the new' using my own designs with 'clay and crochet.'
Each piece, whether it be containers, clocks, or jewelry is a one-of-a-kind piece.

I am JUST STARTING to list my items so keep watching and fan me! I always fan back :-)

I have decided to list my work ONLY on Listia so that people can get and appreciate the pieces without going into their wallets.

I accept Paypal, well-concealed cash, and stamps in SHARED shipping cost. I don't think that either party should have to shoulder the entire cash burden for shipping.

DESCRIPTION OF THIS ITEM:

I wanted to design jewelry pieces that were interchangeable. Therefore, the crocheted chokers are listed separately from the brooches. The brooches 'close' the ends of the choker IN FRONT so you can use any type of pin or brooch. Mix and match with more of my designs or cool brooches from your own jewelry box!

This piece is one of my personal favorites because it's so different.

This was a design I created in clay and then "glazed" it like glass. It needs no other embellishments due to it uniqueness and beauty.

It's ready to wear alone, on a belt, or use as a 'closure' on one of my Victorian chokers.

Because of the way the pin is placed on the back, it may also be stunning as a pendant on a black satin cord.

What kind of choker will I need for this one?

Since it's a larger piece, I'd go with white or black....or even a deep forest green I just picked up this afternoon and with a wider depth like the black one I have up. You want the stability of a wider choker for this size of brooch. It would awesome on you! Red would be pretty, too, but you should see this deep forest green thread I got today. You'd go nuts and it would tie in with the 'butterfly/nature' theme really well.
