For your consideration is one half of a genuine natural pearl shell, the interior of which is lined with natural Abalone or Mother of Pearl - an iridescent lining used in all sorts of decorative artistic jewelry and sculptures.

This is LARGE half shell that is deep and sturdy enough to be treated like a shallow dish. It measures 4.5" long by 3.5" wide and about 2" deep.

Refer to the photos for details though the photos do not do the Abalone surface justice. Photos were taken in natural light but still not quite enough to show it's true colors. I will try to update with more if possible.
