Winner will receive 12 castor bean seeds from my plants. Shown in first picture. This plant deserves complete respect. Have grown these in my garden for years. They are beautiful and stand out. Use as a screen or a single accent plant in the ground or in pots. If grown in pots it will need to be a large one and plant may not reach its full potential. These plants can be hazardous if .mishandled or ingested. There are many scary articles on them. I've raised children and pets around these with no problems . I also wash my hands thoroughly after handling the plant or harvesting the seed. Children should be supervised around any plant. Also dogs and other pets should be supervised around plants of all types. Now the dangers aside this is a beautiful plant with a tropical flair. Loves full sun and the roots really do repel moles from my garden and flower beds. It provides a privacy hedge for my back yard. I cringe when the first hand frost hits and they wilt away. Please take time to look this plant up on the Web and educate yourself if your new to gardening or have never grown this plant. I will send planting instructions with seed.
