The listing, BRACELET - **ART NOUVEAU** (NEW ART) ABALONE SHELL CAT CLIP ON STYLE BRACELET BNIB has ended.

This is an Abalone Shell Cat Clip on bracelet.

It fits up to a size 8 1/2" comfortablty.

These bracelets are hand crafted by decendants of the North American Nahua Indian Nation that now live in deep southern Mexico .

They are designed with Abalone shells, Turquoise, dried natural wild flowers etc. to create flowers,scenes etc.

The stones used are genuine..

They do have a sterling silver overlay...

Stamped Alpaca or Mexico..Vietta Taxco, Vietta CR Taxco

They are made out of german silver aka nickel silver, which in fact has no silver in the metals at all..see below...

Some metals may be called 'silver' when, in fact, they are not (except in coloration). For example, nickel silver (also know as German silver) is an alloy consisting of about 60% copper, about 20% nickel, about 20% zinc, and sometimes about 5% tin (in which case the alloy is called alpaca). There is no silver at all in German/nickel/alpaca silver.

Some items being listed are copper or brass..

This can be cleaned in regular jewelry cleaner without amonia...after cleaning rinse well and completely dry with soft cloth..

to store when you arent wearing it wrap in a paper towel or tissues and store in a ziplock baggie...(helps keep the oxidation minimal)...dry pack/baggie provided to help keep moisture out...

These pieces are lead free...

This jewelry is sold by a member of The Fair Trade Act and Green America and sponser for over 40 years..

I have tried to make this understood what the item is what its made of and why...

I made a comment back about being allergic to nickel and asking you if you thought I would be allergic to these bracelets. If I wasn't such a dum dum I would have read your description more] carefully. But I have a d-I-L that loves cats and she is an artist . This is different and something she would love. Trying to figure how I could coat it so I can wear the, Love this art work.

lol no don't say you're a dum dum cause you aren't ..thats alot of info to read...but I do put all I know in these auctions and am happy that people appreciate it...and thanks too because these are unique and beautiful pieces ....the only thing I know is clear nail polish that a friend of mine uses on her gold...and she doesnt wear it daily...but thats the only case I've known of...she wears these too but she coats all her jewelry...message me if you would like:))
