I wish I still had the ones my grandmother made. She would take them and pinch them in the middle, pucker the center forward and wrap a thread around the base of the pucker about two inches in. Then she would fan that center part out and it would look like a beautiful bow. She would attach it to wreaths, put it in flower arrangements, use them as Christmas tree ornaments, and glue them on hair baretts or pony tail bands to wear in my hair. She found so many uses for the lace doilly! Who ever wins your auctions will be lucky to have your treasures!
