I am not sure but I did put a battery in and the screen lights up I dont have earphones to see if it plays . It does look loke it does...

I put in battery and it turned on but I have no earphones to see if I get sound. I did notice that there was movement like as if something was playing... sorry that's the best I can do but it was working.
