Vintage look, modern technology. This lamp runs on batteries (not included). The knob that would control the oil flow on an actual vintage lantern acts as the on/off switch as well as the brightness control on this lamp. This lamp has 12 bright LED's. This is brand new and in it's original box. It is in it's original plastic wrap. I bought it new and have never opened or used it. It is made of hard plastic.

This bright, vintage style lantern makes the perfect backup light source any time you are working in dark areas, lose power, or are out in the wilderness.
