The listing, **LOOK** Military Coin From Central Command in Tampa Florida!!! COIN AND MILITARY COLLECTORS LOOK!!! has ended.
This auction is for a one of a kind coin that has a pretty neat story to it. My aunt, a career woman in the Armed Forces, was the personal secretary liaison for Four Star General Tommy Franks at Central Command. She had the privilege of visiting countries abroad, setting up dinners and meetings with foreign dignitaries, and making sure everything went off smoothly. Several years ago, I procured a couple of these coins from her. 2 of them have since been given to a couple of people I admire that sacrifice their lives for this country. This one could be YOURS!!!! I have no clue as to the rarity, and what it signifies eludes me as well. The front of the coin, around the top says "Presented By the Commander" and the back says "United States Central Command" around the rim. I am not sure what the five emblems surrounding the flag on the front mean. One says Headquarters U.S. Marine Forces Central Command, andother says USCENTAF, yet another SOCCENT, and the last with writing on the front says Commander U.S. Naval Forces Central Command. The back has an eagle holding an emblem with four stars and red and white stripes. Military expertise would be appreciated on this. I hope this finds a home with someone that is a military/coin enthusiast. FREE SHIPPING offered anywhere in the U.S. Good luck to all and may this find a happy home!!!
