Registered May 23, 1871 as Mason's Improved Glass lid for jarring fruit jams and jellies this CFJ Co Trademark aqua lid is in excellent condition! At 2-3/8 inch diameter(outer) all of the embossing is present, no cracks, chips, or scratches. Very well kept piece of vintage glass. If you love Atlas and mason and any canning jars, have a collection, you may want to add this or even use it. Just noted one of the natural bubbles from being hand made is flea bit on the outer edge. Not noticeable except to touch. Very clean, no calcium buildup from age. Has the original center embossed CFJ Co in the center and words on the outer ring are: Trademark Mason's Improved Registered May 23, 1871.
