This item is an adapter designed to allow you to connect a mouse to a computer with no mouse port via USB port instead. You connect this adapter to your mouse and then plug it into a USB port. Your mouse must support this feature tho or the adapter will not work for you.

I'm guessing that this adapter can work for some game consoles that have USB ports. which must be why it is listed in the Video Games section.
